From Our Guests

The medieval Lurley Manor has so much to offer those who dream of wedding, handfasting or renewing their vows with nature and the ancient trees 🌳 bearing witness. Through the orchard, your guests step through the moongate, affirming that they recognise the cycles of life, the transition between the mundane and spiritual, also wishing you good fortune in your lives together. The great Beech with one arm lowered offering a natural altar. The property boasts 3 freshwater pools that run into each other as their silver stream tinkles down the hill. The final pool with its ivy covered doorway for you to step through should you wish to begin your transition with a cleansing 💧 ceremony the day before your wedding. The old double tennis court is now beautiful grass surrounded by the sentinels of this woodland area, perfect for bell tents (available to hire) or a spot to consider for your reception tipi or marquee. There is accommodation available... the whimsical Bluebell Cottage for 2, The Annexe with 3 bedrooms. Then there are a number of rooms in the Manor itself. The property is teaming with wildlife and a plethora of plants and trees...
