THE ANNEXE

Stumbled across this delightful place while looking for a hotel, and we were so thrilled we found it! We were visiting family and only stayed one night but wished it had been longer. The Annexe is absolutely charming. Ruth & Ian were so helpful—nothing was too much trouble.

Thoughtful touches everywhere: wine & chocolates in the kitchen, cereal, bread, fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits, water—everything you need. Both bedrooms were beautifully decorated with incredibly comfy beds. The main bedroom even has its own lounge area with chairs, sofa & TV. Tea/coffee facilities in both rooms were a lovely bonus.

Look out of the window—surrounded by beautiful wisteria—and you’ll see its own little garden to sit in.

We would not hesitate to recommend The Annexe.

Ruth and Ian were absolutely brilliant hosts from start to finish! firstly we arrived a lot later than planned, Ruth was very quick to respond to me offering me easier solutions to gain access to the property. The annexe was clean and we had various teas and coffees and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. the home and surrounding land itself is absolutely breathtaking – a real must see. we will definitely be visiting again when we are next in the area!

Fantastic accommodation.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Lovely annexe with fantastic decor, very neat and tidy. Super comfy beds. Thoughtful hosts as they got milk, chocolate, orange juice, fruit and biscuits for us on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

We have had a fantastic stay here, the place is just awesome. Lovely and quiet and so very comfortable. A lovely welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. Ian and Ruth are fantastic hosts and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
