Mary
Ian's 96-Year-old mum called Mary, has now joined us here at Lurley Manor. You will often see her pottering about. Do say hi.
She is hard of hearing and nearly blind, but would love a chat. She is in Magnolia Cottage and loves to be as independent as possible here.
A Warm Welcome from Us🌿
In October 2024, we swapped life in West Sussex for the peaceful beauty of Devon — and the adventure began! Lurley Manor is now our home and the heart of our dream: a cozy, nature-filled haven where family, friends, and guests can relax and reconnect.
Between us, we have six wonderful grown-up children in their 30s (Who are living their dreams abroad and in the UK), grandchildren. we love it when they come to visit. Not forgetting out two well-loved dogs — Charlie and Milo — who are always by our side.
Our plans keep growing: more animals (alpacas, chickens, ducks, and goats soon!), and Wild Glamping in our woods, arriving in 2026 — all surrounded by Devon’s serene countryside.
We’re so grateful for this new chapter and can’t wait to share it with you. Here’s to fresh beginnings, happy memories, and the simple magic of life at Lurley Manor.
