The Lovey Lurley Cottage (Annexe) + Well, let us begin with first impressions we both looked at each other and in unison said "WOW" what a find.... a secluded little gem of a place, tucked away but literally 2mins from Tiverton. We were greeted by Charlie, the onsite security . It was a lovely surprise to see a welcome selection of goodies left for us..... tea,coffee,juice,cider,crisps,chocolates,fruit,biscuits,cake,porridge,milk...... this is a very welcome touch you don't usually get, thank you Ruth & Ian very much appreciated. The whole cottage is absolutely gorgeous, everything is in keeping with a listed building, the furnishings are perfect, the oldie worldy feel is amazingly done . We absolutely loved the 2 nights we had with you. Ruth & Ian are extremely friendly and very helpful....(would have loved to take a peek at the walk but we had non stop rain ) I know our skin won't leak but I (Helen) forgot to pack my walking boots, (that my excuse and I'm sticking to it. The shower is powerful & very hot water , we couldn't get the coffee machine to play, but not an issue, we made do with instant . The sitting room chairs are super comfy, TV works with lots of channels but wasn't needed, listening to the birds and surrounding nature was relaxing (and the gentle sound of the rain was lovely). The bed is huge and very soft, we always travel with an extra pillow, but the pillows provided were perfect you have the options of 2 bed rooms, as we were only 2 we only needed the one ...... We were over the moon with this little hidden gem, and wish Ruth & Ian all the best for the future and will definitely return in a year or so, can't wait to see the other cottages come together. Once again anyone booking this and looking for authentic oldie worldy proper cottage feel, with inkeeping furniture & fixtures won't be disappointed.

Ruth and Ian were absolutely brilliant hosts from start to finish! firstly we arrived a lot later than planned, Ruth was very quick to respond to me offering me easier solutions to gain access to the property. The annexe was clean and we had various teas and coffees and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. the home and surrounding land itself is absolutely breathtaking – a real must see. we will definitely be visiting again when we are next in the area!

Fantastic accommodation.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Lovely annexe with fantastic decor, very neat and tidy. Super comfy beds. Thoughtful hosts as they got milk, chocolate, orange juice, fruit and biscuits for us on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

We have had a fantastic stay here, the place is just awesome. Lovely and quiet and so very comfortable. A lovely welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. Ian and Ruth are fantastic hosts and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
